My therapeutic approach is both trauma-informed and grounded in systems theory and feminist theory, meaning I look at mental health in the context of your relationships, community, and the larger systems you’re part of—as well as the power dynamics within them. I see behaviors like shutting down during conflict, feeling “on edge” in everyday situations, overcommitting to please others, or struggling to trust after betrayal as understandable adaptations to trauma and stress, not as personal failings.
I value both thoughts and emotions in the healing process, and I draw on a combination of behavior-based and emotionally focused techniques tailored to each client’s needs. This might mean helping you recognize and shift patterns that keep you stuck in the same arguments with your partner, untangle anxiety that makes it hard to make decisions, or learn to express anger in ways that feel safe and constructive. The modalities I work with most often include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gottman Couples Therapy.
As a neurodiverse individual I know how difficult it can be to navigate the world. I offer strength based coaching for the challenges that can accompany neurodiversity, which is more hands-on and structured than therapy. This can look like breaking down overwhelming projects into manageable steps, creating realistic routines that actually stick, utilizing personal strengths, or practicing ways to start tasks when motivation feels out of reach.

Walk-and-talk therapy merges physical movement with therapeutic conversation, unlocking a host of benefits:
Location: Sessions happen in quiet green spaces or trails around Austin to provide as much confidentiality as possible.
Pace and Flexibility: You walk at a pace that feels right—pausing to sit or reflect as needed.
Backup Planning: Telehealth and phone sessions are available in case of bad weather.
I earned my B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Sam Houston State University in 2022, and my M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University in 2025, along with a certification in gender-affirming care. As a non-binary, queer therapist, I bring both professional training and lived experience to supporting trans and gender non-conforming clients and their loved ones.
I work with a wide variety of challenges, but these are some that I have the most experience with.
Attachment issues can show up in many ways. You might feel constant worry about your partner leaving, push people away when they get too close, or even feel afraid of losing yourself in a relationship. For some, these patterns may also be connected to Borderline Personality Disorder, which can bring intense emotions and challenges in relationships. While these experiences can feel overwhelming, they often make sense when we look at past hurts or unresolved experiences that still impact you today. In our work together, we’ll explore those patterns with care and compassion. I often draw on approaches like Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (parts work), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy—sometimes blending them—to help you create more secure, fulfilling connections.
Whether you’re working on understanding your own gender or sexuality, a disability diagnosis, or navigating polyamory with your partner(s), I will help you discover the core beliefs that drive your sense of self using narrative therapy among other techniques. Identifying the stories we tell ourselves allows us to add nuance & insight to black and white thinking.
My approach to the day to day challenges that can accompany neurodiversity is practical & direct with a gentle touch. I utilize my personal experience with executive dysfunction to help clients find the tools that work best for them in a non-shaming way. These tools may include time blocking, determining how to increase motivation, identifying strengths and how to utilize them.
